Angola Double Header Weekend! Brad Springer Racing took the #61 RaceStatus.com, K&N Filters, TeamSE modified to Angola Motor Speedway on Friday June 17th for the Annual Stan Perry Memorial Race. Brad qualified 3rd quick and started 8th in the feature. Struggling with the car a bit, he ended up 5th in the feature event. The next night, Saturday, June 18th he returned to Angola Motor Speedway for their 30 lap event. Brad started the night out by qualifying 3rd fast which put him in the 5th starting position for the feature event. From the drop of the green flag, Brad knew he didn't have much time to make it to the front of the field. By lap 20 he was running in the 2nd position with almost a straightaway to make up to catch the leader. By lap 25 he caught the leader and by lap 28 took the lead and went on to take the win! This makes win #2 for the season and Brad is looking forward to many more this season.
