Brad Springer Racing took their #61 RaceStatus.com, Conely Engines, K&N Filters, NAPA, TeamSE modified to Concord, North Carolina for the 8th Annual North / South Shootout race at Concord Speedway. This is the first time the USA Modified Series has been invited to this historic event and they provided a full field of strong modifieds from 5 different states. Qualifying saw Brad Springer as the fastest car in the 25 car field, turning a lap of 16.722 sec around the half mile track. Brad ran a strong race and led almost half of the 50 lap race until heavy lap traffic and a mishandling car caused him to lose a couple spots, finishing in the 3rd position. Brad Springer Racing accomplished a lot this weekend at a new track they have not raced on before, setting fast time and finishing 3rd. This race will complete the 2010 season for Brad Springer Racing.
