Press Release: Brad Springer finishes 4th at Angola Speedway....

Brad Springer and the Springer Motorsports team traveled back to Angola Speedway Saturday to compete in the "10th annual Stan Perry Memorial" race night. The #61 Windy City Bags, K&N Filters, Leaf Racewear, GlenGuard, Sherman Enterprises, Rapid Racecar prepared modified started by qualifying with the fast time for the evening. The Springer Racing team then prepared the car to start the evening's main event in the 8th position. When the dust settled and the checkered flag flew, Brad found himself bringing home the #61 Windy City Bags modified in 4th place.

"I think we had a 2nd place car tonight for sure. They cut back the total laps of tonight's feature and our car was set up to come in later in the race. The last ten laps of the feature were our quickest. I think we could have gotten 2nd place, but I do not think we had anything for Bud (Perry). He was just to strong. Congratulations to him for tonight's victory. We will take this coming weekend off and go through the car and make sure everything is in good shape to go run M-40 Speedway on the 27th. We need to go up there and have a good finish to get us back up there in the USA Modified Series points.
