Brad Springer Racing took the #61 RaceStatus.com, Conely Engines, K&N Filters, Classic City Automotive NAPA, TeamSE modified to the famous Winchester Speedway on Sunday, July 18th to compete with the USA Modified Series.  Brad came into the event as the Series Points Leader by only one point.  Brad currently holds the track record as the fastest modified around the famous half mile, high banked speedway.  Qualifying put Brad as the 2nd fastest car in the 28 car field and with bad weather on the horizon the heat races were cancelled to allow the feature events to complete before the rain came in.  The top 10 qualifyers drew for position which started Brad in the 7th position for the 50 lap event.  Brad ran a good race and finished in the 7th position.  The team leaves Winchester Speedway as the USA Modified Series Points Leader with a 23 point lead going into the last 4 races of the season.  Brad will take the #61 modified to Plymouth Speedway for their next race on August 7th with the USA Modified Series.

Brad Springer Racing took the #61 RaceStatus.com, Conely Engines, K&N Filters, NAPA, TeamSE modified to Angola Motor Speedway on Friday, July 2nd for a 50 lap $1000 to win event.  Qualifying put Brad in the 10th fastest position out of the 30 cars that attended.  Brad took the win in the 8 lap fast heat race and started on the pole of the 50 lap feature.  Brad was out to a quick lead during the caution filled event until around lap 35 when the car seemed to start losing power.  On lap 41 Brad and another car got into each other causing the caution to fly once again.  Brad's car seemed to have electrical issues so he had to pull it into the pits and end up finishing the race in the 15th position.  The team worked hard long into the night getting the car ready for the next day's events at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan with the USA Modified Series.  The team was able to meet all the fans during an autograph session on the track before the main events started.  Brad signed over 100 autographs and took lots of pictures with his fans.  Qualifying saw Brad 4th quick with a 17.68 sec lap and he finished 5th in the 6 car Fast Dash.  The feature draw put Brad in the 6th starting position for yet another caution filled race.  Avoiding a few bad wrecks, Brad ended up finishing the 50 lap event in the 5th position.  Brad would like to thank his wonderful sponsors that support him each week:  RaceStatus.com, Conely Engines, K&N Filters, Classic City Automotive NAPA, and TeamSE.  The team will take a week off and be back at it on Sunday, July 18th at the famous Winchester Speedway, where Brad Springer holds the current track record in the modified division and is the most recent race winner there.
